Design Features
Construction - DURABLE
Rotomolded construction - Seamless construction eliminating any stress concentrations and weak points. A secondary benefit to this process is material thickness increases at outer corners where impacts typically occur.
Material Selection - TOUGH
Constructed from Polyethylene which has superior wear characteristics (think white water kayaks bonking into rocks) and minimal reduction in strength at lower temperatures.
Weatherproof - PROTECTION
Zero penetrations for potential leak points and a rubber closed cell O-ring gasket keeping the goods IN and crud OUT.
Tote Platform - EFFICIENT
The tote platform provides advantages over case platforms (hinged lids) with multifunctionality from a removable lid. This feature results in infinite uses and allows nest-ability when empty minimizing space by condensing down.
Stackable - FUNCTIONAL
Orientation of the feet pads fit into the lid recession allowing Tutes to be stacked and not slide off.
Water Shedding Lid -INTUITIVE
Lid is designed to minimize collecting of water by shedding water through gutters on the corners and lashing channels
Accessible while secured - VERSATILE
Lashing slots on all 4 sides allow the body to be secured while the lid can still be opened allowing access.
Replaceable Feet - ADAPTABLE
Grippy replaceable rubber feet secured by stainless steel hardware to a molded in stainless steel insert. Options for DIY feet pads or DIY mounting plates.
Multiple handle options - ERGONOMICAL
Molded in rigid handles on all 4 sides allowing flexibility for handling and moving with options for DIY rope handles in the body corners or lashing ports
Lockable - SECURE
Locking receptacles in all corners for padlocks (requires 2) which may also be used for attaching a lid leash.
